At debbidoo we provide a fully managed email newsletter broadcast service that represents fantastic value for money if you're too busy to send your own newsletters; it's inexpensive, feature-packed and lets us take the hard work out of your email newsletter broadcasting, giving you back some time to get on with other important tasks. All you have to do is provide us with stories... we'll do the rest.

how pricing works

The one-off setup fee covers the following:

• Creating a customised HTML newsletter template and header image (if you'd prefer to provide your own template or header image, we may be able to reduce the setup fee; if you want to send text-only newsletters, we will also reduce the setup fee)
• Customised HTML code that your web designer can paste into your website, to create a subscription form linked directly to your subscriber list
• Confirmation, forward-to-a-friend and unsubscribe pages (some work by your web designer may be needed, depending on your preferences)
• If you have a Google Analytics account we can set up link tagging, which enables you to track subscribers' behaviour when they click through from your newsletter to your website
• Importing your existing permission-based subscriber list, if you have one, or setting up a new one if you don't

The usage fee covers the following:

• We'll proof read each newsletter's copy and add it to your newsletter template, then send you a test copy of your newsletter to ensure you're completely happy with it before we broadcast it
• We'll include an unsubscribe link in every newsletter
• We'll include a forward-to-a-friend link in every newsletter, enabling subscribers to forward your newsletter to up to five friends at a time
• We'll provide the full HTML code of the newsletter so you can host a copy on your website, if you want to (we do this with our own newsletter, yakety yak)
• We'll test your newsletter against the most popular spam filters (newsletters are sent via whitelisted IPs, but sometimes your content may trigger spam filters; our testing helps us spot problems and reduce the likelihood of you being reported as a spammer)
• We'll also create and send a text-only version of the newsletter at the same time as the HTML version, for no additional fee
• We'll broadcast your newsletters to your subscriber list, which we host free of charge
• Unsubscribes and bounces are processed automatically, so your mailing list will always be clean
• If you also use other opt-in methods of collecting customer email addresses (for example, on application forms), we can manually add these to your subscriber list for no additional fee
• We’ll provide an online reporting centre where you can view all sorts of statistics about your campaign and subscribers, including HTML opens, forwards and clickthroughs (if you want to try a demo version of our reporting centre, please use the client login form on the left hand side of this page – the username and password are both debbidoo-demo).

If you’re really pushed for time, we can even write your copy for you – but please note that we charge an additional copywriting fee for this.
