Keep Christmas Cheap: don't let money worries spoil your celebrations

We've got a new project, which we're very excited about...

Keep Christmas Cheap is our brand new website, and it's part campaign, part community, aiming to help consumers and businesses save money at Christmas.

The site contains a mixture of ads for Christmassy products that can be bought cheaply, and articles about how you can make your own alternatives. So far we have recipes for bread sauce and mulled wine, Christmas decorations you can make yourself by having a nice walk in the woods, and ideas for making your own Christmas cards, wrapping paper and gift tags, and loads of other articles. We'd love to add your favourite recipes and Christmas tips, so if you fancy adding an article please do - the more the merrier!.

The site went live a couple of days ago and already we're getting a steady flow of visitors, so we expect the content to expand rapidly over the next couple of weeks. If you'd like to keep up to date with all the latest changes to the site, try subscribing to the Keep Christmas Cheap newsletter and bookmarking the KCC blog.

We'll also be launching a Facebook page in the next couple of days, and again we'll announce this on the KCC blog once it's live.

Keep Christmas Cheap offers ridiculously cheap advertising, so if you'd like to take advantage please head over to the site to find out more.

Self-serve newsletters are here!

As well as designing, building and launching Keep Christmas Cheap, we've also been busy putting together our new self-serve email newsletters package.

Newsletters are a great way to keep in touch with customers, share news and promote new products, but a fully managed service doesn't suit every budget. With debbidoo's new self-serve email newsletters package you can send professional HTML newsletters quickly, easily and at a very low cost. The one-off setup fee (which includes a branded custom HTML newsletter template) is just £125, while the broadcast fees are just £5 per campaign plus 1p per recipient. Our campaign management centre is seriously easy to use, and includes access to a range of handy reports to let you know how your campaign is performing.

To find out more, please visit our self-serve email newsletters page.

From the blogs

At chinwag we've been announcing the launch of Keep Christmas Cheap and self-serve newsletters.

Meanwhile, over at a blog named desire, we've been talking about tonsillitis and teeny weeny snails.

New lower prices

When the economy slows down, it's tempting to lower the marketing budget to save cash... but during an economic downturn, surely it makes sense to do more marketing, not less?

We want to help businesses get through these difficult financial times, so we've lowered some of our prices to make them more affordable for businesses with smaller budgets.

For example, our fully managed email newsletter service now costs just £195 to set up, and the management fee is now £100 per broadcast plus 1p per recipient.

We've also reduced the prices of our pay-per-click packages - please visit the site for full details.
